Legislation issues

CORD is currently looking for individuals who are interested in serving on a Legislative Committee. This committee is ideal for persons who have an interest in legislative issues pertaining to disabilities, as well as being an advocate for other persons with disabilities.

The committee will primarily be responsible for planning the annual Advocacy Day event. This will include researching legislative issues pertinent to disabilities and making important decisions on which legislative concerns will be addressed to State Representatives on Advocacy Day.

For individuals living outside Spokane County who would like to participate on the legislative committee, attendance can be accomplished through telephone conference calling.

To receive additional information or to sign up to be a legislative committee member, contact Ed Kennedy or Linda McClain.
